Jozani forest is a 30 min drive away from Stone Town City. It is located at Chwaka bay region, it is well known due to its tropical environment it is home to a unique type of monkey known as the Red Colobus Monkey, there are many animal species found at the Jozani forest park most of which are aquatic such is the Sea Turtle, the forest also has many tree species such as mangrove trees, each that serves the forest inhabitant with food and also it is been used as a medicine to the local people living nearby the forest.
